This is a shameless plug for my AR buddy, Sarah Cooper. Sarah, if you haven't noticed, you are in the enviable position of #12 on the Most Subscribed list! I say enviable because you are way ahead of bloggers who have been here much longer than you.
My own take on this is that readers subscribe to blogs that offer valuable information, encouragement and a little goofiness now and then (that little button above my face that says Subscribe to Blog is how we keep up with favorite readers. Consider this an invitation to click on mine, should you enjoy my posts - I know, I have no shame lol).
In the short time Sarah has been here she has consistently provided highly entertaining posts full of useful information. I think she and I may have arrived at about the same time. There's so many doors leading into Active Rain that we don't know who came in until we start mingling at the party with them.
It takes involvement to build a community and boy is Sarah involved. I have been the recipient of Sarah's unexpected greeting cards (real ones sent snail mail), thoughtful comments, and friendship in general. She's a great gal and a fabulous REALTOR®. It may sound trite, but to know Sarah is to love her.
If you've recently started splashing in the Rain, learn from Sarah. She proves that you don't have to be one of the founding fathers to be making a difference. Everyone in Active Rain can make a difference. All it takes is some participation and effort. Yes! I'm talking to you sitting there thinking you can't possibly do it. Just give it a try. You may surprise yourself!

By the way, I'm subscribed to you, Sarah and Kelli so this is really working out! I just don't have a lot of free time right now, next week that will all change. My weekend starts tomorrow from the office, but I'll be busting my rear end for the next 3 days!
Lysa is this your BIG weekend? Wow! I can't believe it's here already. It may tire you out but I know you'll do a fabulous job and will be soaring after it's all over and you see how well it turned out. I can't wait to see the turnout myself. I've been working in my office all morning, slapped the final coat of paint up, dragged the furniture back in and now I'm in mid-reorganizing. (I'm determined to tame my office!!) I crawled to the computer for a bit of relaxation and comfort -- and here's Maggie making my jaw drop!!!

I have no idea what's up with that #12 thing. I almost thought it only showed up that way on my computer. You can see that, too? LOL! Really, I don't understand it ... but I like it! Wish I knew what I was doing so I could do it MORE.

Me & my boys had a special post for your 50,000 mark but the computer ate our homework (;-)) I have to finish some pressing work for my "day job as realtor" before I can get back to "happy hour" here on the rain - but here's a kudo to you and the great friends you have here - Sarah actually welcomed me into the community with a Meme - she's the best!!!
