A man and a friend are playing golf one day at their local golf course.
One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral procession on the road next to the course.
He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes, and bows down in prayer.
His friend says, "Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You truly are a kind man."
The man then replies, "Yeah, well we were married 35 years."

Thank you - a good laugh!
This is too funny. My husband had a friend who actually said something similar recently at a golf outing. They were in the clubhouse waiting to pay and it was taking FOREVER! There tee time was about to pass and the guy behind the counter was taking his sweet time- so my husband's friend stepped up to the counter and said- " Hey Buddy, do you mind hurrying up- my wife's funeral is at 2!?!?! Hilarious!
Amuzing post.

Patricia - I don't even know any golfers but it struck a funny chord with me.
Todd - the AR addiction is a pretty strong one. Your site is not the traditional real estate site. Interesting. How's it working for you as far as contacts? I'm in the process of totally revamping (replacing?) mine.
Maggie,
I always love a goos golf story, but I love playing more when I can get away from the RE jungle.....see...I did manage a day off...but it was a mortgage broker, and worse one from Active Rain LoL!
Neal, a day off is absolutely necessary. We don't want anyone stressed out from working too hard. It looks like you and Matt had lots of fun.
Lysa - oh goodness no! I hope not. I'm sure your tourney will be fab. Can't wait for your update.
Matthew - I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't play golf (unlike you and Neal...you pros you) but I still found it funny. =)
Matthew - I did! You mean you weren't really playing? Just driving the cart here and there? I told you I'm no pro when it comes to golf. lol
